With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sadie Mae Sherbert of Woodruff, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband John Sherbert; her parents, Angus Grubbs and Clara Vaughn Grubbs; her daughter Lisa Sherbert; her brothers, James Grubbs and Fred Grubbs; and her granddaughter Renee Sherbert.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Leopard (Glenn) of Woodruff, Mitchell Sherbert (Melody) of Woodruff and Wayne Sherbert (Leeann) of Woodruff; her sisters, Shirley Price of Woodruff and Yvonne Fortenberry of Woodruff; her grandchildren, Michelle Skipper (David), Miranda Bragg, Jaxson Sherbert, Katelynn Kelly, Jacob Kelly, Kaylee Cartee, Joshua Sherbert, Chelsea Adams and Michael Sherbert; her great grandchildren, Danielle Flinn, Tyler Eubanks, Wyatt Hitt, Nicole Sessoms (Dylan) and Maliyah Kelly; and her great great grandchildren, Eden Hamm and Grayson Flinn.
