She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Dewey Casey and Essie Lee Bailey Casey; her brothers, Marshall Fred Casey and Milford James Casey; her daughter-in-law JoEllyn "Jody" Laurin Scott; and her sister Linda Mary Casey Godfrey.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Ralph Scott; her children, Alan William Scott (Brenda Sammons) of Moore, Sandra Scott Hix (Jeff) of Greenwood, Debra Scott Carter (Stewart) of Columbia and Susan Scott Culbreath (Ted) of Woodruff; her grandchildren, Scott Matthew Hix (Abbey), Adam Daniel Hix, Hayley Aileen Scott, Megan Lorraine Carter Anderson (Patrick), Sara Kristine Hix, Meredith Kelsey Scott, Matthew Powell Carter and William Sergey Culbreath; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Ruth Hix, Juniper Lorraine Anderson, Tucker Scott Hix and Ezra Taylor Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Woodruff First Baptist Church (801 Cross Anchor Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Greenhaven Memorial Gardens (12795 US-221, Woodruff, SC 29388).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Over and Above Fund of Woodruff First Baptist Church, 801 Cross Anchor Road, Woodruff, SC 29388.
