It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Foster (Woodruff, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Delbert and Annie Mae Hall Simmons; and her siblings, Nancy Ann Hostetler, Buddy Simmons and Jerry Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Crystal Gomez of Woodruff, Samuel Foster of Woodruff and Jeremy Foster of Woodruff; her siblings, Ollie Mae Goodwin of Woodruff and Ernest Simmons of Woodruff; and her grandsons, Davian Sullivan and Kelton Sullivan.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
