He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Sharp (Chris); his siblings, Patricia Simmons (Buddy) of Laurens and Marvin West (Karen) of Woodruff; his nieces, Candy Roof (Ricky), Pamela Truitt (Tom), Jennifer Truitt (James) and Cindy Bevill (Doug); and his nephew Robert Simmons (Jamie).
