With sadness, we share the passing of William Owens (Woodruff, South Carolina). William, born on April 12, 1941, passed away on July 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Owens and Mattie Ruth Duckworth Owens; and his brothers, Jim, Bud, Jack, Dee, Donald and Truman Owens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Goodlett (Allan Goodlett), Shelley Chakan (Scott Chakan) and Cassy Keogan (Patrick Keogan); his grandchildren, Brooke Durbin (Luke Durbin), Reed Horton (Nicholas Ross), Benjamin Goodlett, Mary Randolph Goodlett, Scott Chakan, Jr., Hannah Stevenson and Mattie Kate Keogan; his great grandchild Charlie Reed; and his former wife Gwen Owens.
