She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eivie Cox and Eunice Odom Cox; her husband Wiley Branch Kessler, Jr.; and her siblings, Ruby Alfreda Cox Spell and Sidney Timothy Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Kessler Pullen (Jerry) and Wiley B. Kessler, III (Lynn); her grandchildren, Catherine Klauber, William W. Klauber (Sara), Jennifer Nicole Kessler (Sean O'Neil), Shelley Pullen (Jason Kelly) and Jason Pullen (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, William Klauber, Max, Madison Kelly, Lilly and Wren Pullen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
