It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna McCaw (York, South Carolina), who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl McGriff and James Jones; and her siblings, James Franklin, Henry, W. C. Jones and Annie Neal Shannon.
She is survived by: her husband Halbrook McCaw; her daughter Jo Renee Hampton; her granddaughter Hollie Setzer; her nephew Derrick Beard; her sister Naomi Jones of Rock Hill, SC; her daughters, Valerie Gill (William) of Parker, CO and Tanya McCaw of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Niki Gill Adams (Justin) of Aurora, CO, Juanna Thomas (Jabari) of Fairburn, GA, Byron Hampton of Smyrna, SC and Marqui Gill (Tamia) of Parker, CO; her friend Peggy Wilson of Rock Hill, SC; and her cousins, Sonja, Glen, Carolyn and Keiwanna. She is also survived by cousins, extended family, dear neighbors, and friends.
