He is survived by: his son Troy Smith of York, SC; his grandchildren, Tammy Turner, Tina Miller of Matthews, Amy Young (Larry) of Concord, Amanda Smith (Brian) of Charlotte, Kim Petty (JR) of Monroe and Robbie Smith (Bonnie) of Clover, SC; his great grandchildren, Jalen, Porsha, Deven (Timmitry), Layla, Brenan, Bostyn, Ava, Addison, Brandon, Nora and Jovie; his great great grandchildren, Kyran, Kyree, Keylan, Kyon and Kyn'lea; and his friends, Randall, Michael and Allan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Michael Anglican Church (2211 Margaret Wallace Rd, Matthews, NC 28105). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
