Irene Sebastian Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Sebastian in York, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tucker and Ollie Williams; and her husband Worth Ray Sebastion. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Benson (Robert); her brother Paul Tucker (Linda); her grandsons, Bradley Benson James Benson and Jason Benson; her stepgrandson Robby Benson; and her caregivers, Leisa and Alan Dzeskewicz. She is also survived by three step great-grandchildren; and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brier Creek Baptist Church (10869 Old Hwy 60., Roaring River, NC 28669). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
