He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Reid; his children, Dematrie L. Whitlock, Renita L. Brown (Jonathan), Miranda Q. Brown, Sedrick A. Talford (Antonia Chalk), Tarasha R. Killian (Quinton) of Hickory Grove, SC and Marasha R. Smith (Avery) of York, SC; his sisters, Hattie Brown, Maggie Davis of York, SC and Angela Artis of Fort Lawn, SC; and his grandson Quinton Tarchevis Killian. He is also survived by Five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (301 E Liberty St, York, SC 29745). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt Zion No 2 AME Zion Church (4307 SC-97, Hickory Grove, SC 29717).
