She was predeceased by: her father Elwood Newell McGinnis; her daughter Cathy Connell; and her brothers, Mickey McGinnis and Ronnie McGinnis. She is survived by: her mother Catherine McManus Triplett; her husband Buck Powell of York; her children, Sandey Sanders, Patrick Jenkins (Cassandra) and David Jenkins (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jennifer Green (Rob), Heather Sutton (Kenny), David Stevenson (Helen), Amber Porter (Michael), Kaeley Jenkins, David Jenkins, Joshua Jenkins, Cody Connell and Abby Connell; and her sister Janice Faith Sheive (Al).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Nazarene Church (1029 Mt Gallant Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
