He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Montgomery and Edna Joyner Montgomery; his grandson T. W. Montgomery; and his son-in-law Mark Puryear. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Cobb Montgomery; his children, Karen F., Kimberly M. Daniels (Steve), Kristen F. Mullinax (James), Ronald W. Montgomery, Jr. (Tonya) and Christopher Montgomery (Angela) of York, SC; and his siblings, Thomas L., Grady L. Montgomery of Hilton and Kathy L. Montgomery of Clover, SC. He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two more great granddaughters.
