With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Likness of Aberdeen, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Berglund and Mildred Kooiman (Plant); and her siblings, Connie Flannery and Millard Berglund. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Likness; her children, Stacey Breshears, Terry Likness, Jr. and Chris Likness (Shelly); her grandchildren, Natasha Lawson (Jeff), Betty Skinner (Earl), Jennifer Summitt, Destine Lindemuth (Donald), Morgan Walker, Ashlee Brown (Logan) and Austin Haider-Likness; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Chance Lawson, Damian, Logan Skinner, Donnie Lindemuth, Holden Howell, Harper and Granger Brown; and her siblings, Dale Flannery and Bob Berglund.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
