With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Hanson of Aberdeen, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Christopher has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parent LaCinda Hanson (Patten-Johnson) of Mary's Hospital. He is survived by: his father Joe Hanson (Sally) of Aberdeen; his brothers, Tim Hanson (Robyn) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Daron Hanson (Lisa) of Winterport, ME; and his siblings' children, Kyle, Hillary, Nikki and Katie Hanson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Aspire Foundation, 607 N. 4th St., Aberdeen, SD 57401.
