He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Wein and Della Wein (Ratliff); his brother David; and his stepfather Don Butcher. He is survived by: his wife Susan Albert Wein; his children, Jeremy Wein, Jennifer Barnes (Mark Breidenbach) and Jordan Wein (Sarah); his grandchildren, Terrina Heyd (Alex), Izebella Barnes, Olivia Barnes and Cooper Wein; and his brothers, Jerry Wein (Darla) and Kevin Wein (Darcie).
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to The Aberdeen Area Humane Society or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
