He is survived by: his former wife Mavis Anderson; his spouse Shirley Wessel of Fairmont; his children, Pamela McKeown of Hudson and Paul Wallien (Colleen) of Aberdeen, SD; his stepdaughters, Shari Thielges of Eden Prairie, MN, Jodie Whitmore (Al Siebert) of Fairmont, MN and Elizabeth Duncan of Detroit Lakes, MN.; his siblings, Robert Wallien (Betty) of Bloomington, MN and Alice Wallien of Roseville, MN; his grandchildren, Megan Sears (Adam) of Westford, Andrea Dietterle (Lucas) of Papillion and Daniel Wallien (Meera) of Cypress, Texas; his stepgrandchildren, Dayton Whitmore (Cami), Colby Whitmore (Krystal), Tanner Duncan (Emma), Garret Duncan (Vanessa), Corbin Duncan (Sarah), Makenna Reep (Carson) and Kelsey Kadlec (Jake); his nieces, Kathy, Chris, Patricia and Amy; and his nephew Mike.
