It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Boekelheide of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Boekelheide; her parents, AJ Markuson and Helena Markuson; and her sister Awanda Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Greg Boekelheide (Ellen) of Northville, SD, Dan Boekelheide (Dwight Stewart) of Ashville, NC, Kerry Boekelheide and Mark Boekelheide (Diane) of Northville, SD; her grandchildren, Andrea Seeley (Darin), Ryan Boekelheide, Amanda Boekelheide, Alex Boekelheide (Jenna) and Rachael Langbehn (Carter); her great grandchildren, Mara, William Seeley, Luke, Blake Boekelheide, Cal and Auggy Langbehn; her sister Shirley Guhl; her sister-in-law Donna Swanhorst; and her daughter-in-law Donna Boekelheide.
