He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Bauer and Ann Bauer (Reinbold); his brother Jim; and his sister-in-law Virginia Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Lana; his children, Brian Bauer (Kim) of Turtle Lake, WI, Carol Sanders (Randy) of Paoli, IN and Robert Bauer (Danyel) of Helena, MT.; and his siblings, Peggy Betsch, Joe Bauer, Walter Bauer (Debbie), Mike Jr. Bauer (Barbara) and Donald Bauer.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
