Heather R. Olson Obituary

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Heather had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Heather may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her stepfather Mearl Schanzenbach. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Olson (Sue) and Zona Schanzenbach (Steve Gebur); her brother Chad Olson (Candi); her stepbrothers, Melvin Schanzenbach (Karen) and Tod Schanzenbach; and her half-sisters, Erin Tarver (Lance) and Emily Richardson (Clint). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made in Heather's honor to the Aspire Foundation, 407 N. 4th St., Aberdeen, SD 57401.
