As Irene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Irene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Voegele and Pauline Voegele (Pleines); her former husband Edwin Martz; and her husband John J. Nieuwsma. She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Joyce Mohr (Martz) and Victoria Lynn Miller (Martz).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Morningside Cemetery Morningside Cemetery.
