She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Welke and Helen Welke (Campbell); her brothers, Chuck and Rick Welke; and her nephews, Joseph Welke and Alex Welke.
She is survived by: her children, Angelhaus, Matt Prehn (Heidi Carrels) and Alissa Prehn (Jeffrey Lubinski); her stepgrandchildren, Maxwell Prehn, Anderson Prehn, Skya Jandt, Mason Carrels and Simon Carrels; and her siblings, Linda Schmidt, Larry Welke and Jeff Welke (Nancy). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schriver's Memorial Chapel (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A wake will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (502 2nd Ave SE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
