She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopold "Leo" Schmidt and Catherine Schmidt (Feist); her daughter Mary Ellen; and her siblings, Josephine, Angeline, Irene, Gertrude, Mary, Leo, Edward and Fred.
She is survived by: her former husband Edward Johnson; her husband Garry Johnson of Aberdeen; her children, Michael Johnson (Theresa) of Aberdeen, SD, Fred Johnson (Danielle) of Aberdeen, SD, Marsha Ricciardi (Tim) of Plymouth, MA and Amanda Johnson of Aberdeen, SD; her sisters, Margaret Dutenhoffer of Aberdeen, SD and Darlene Johnson (Jim) of Aberdeen, SD; her sister-in-law Fran Mock of Bismark, ND; her grandchildren, Heather, Jami, Shawn, Alexandria, Zachary, Andrew, Danika, Jevon, Isabella, RyLynn, Tatyn and Zaidyn; and her great grandchild Odin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1732 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
