It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Fries of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Fries to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Korff and Theda Korff (Robinson); her husbands, John Dienisch and Richard "Dick" Fries; her children, Cary Fries and Michelle Barth; and her brothers, Dennis Korff and David Korff.

She is survived by: her son Matt Fries (Brandi); her son-in-law Mike Barth; her grandchildren, Kay Barth, Matt Barth, Bo Fries (Ashley) and Zac Fries (Mia); and her great grandchild Kannon Fries.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Evangelical Lutheran Church, 108 Walnut St., Langford, SD 57454, in memory of Kay.
