LaVerne J. Tarver Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne J. Tarver of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Bringelson and Effie Bringelson (Holbeck); her husband Richard Jewell Tarver; her son Douglas Tarver; and her sister-in-law Ardis Bringelson.

She is survived by: her son Dan Tarver; her grandchildren, Dani Handt (Ethan), Sylvia Anderson (Eric), Josey Tarver, Travis Tarver (Felicia) and Lance Tarver (Erin); her great grandchildren, Alex Tarver, Ayden Tarver and Emery Tarver; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Alex Bellefeuille (Mikayla), Ben Bellefeuille, Jacob Bellefeuille, Cooper Fosher, Callen Fosher and Colt Fosher; and her brother Vermayne Bringelson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
