With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence John Weiss of Aberdeen, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Paul and Elaine Weiss (Lamb); his brother Thomas (Diane Weiss); his son Phillip (Lisa Weiss); his children-in-law, Gene Arndt and Sharon Weiss; his granddaughter Jerianne Zimmerman; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Weiss and Ava Weiss.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Peterson (Moorehouse); and his children, Larry Weiss (Vickie), Betty Arndt, William Weiss (Connie), MaryAlice Calva (Michael), John Weiss (Darla), Paul Weiss (Stefanie), Rhonda Brooks and Kathy Weiss.
