The passing of Lawrence Schile of Aberdeen, South Dakota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartle Schile and Louise Schile (Voss); his daughter Teresa; his brothers, Elmer and Dwayne; and his sister-in-law Bonnie.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Schmidt of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Douglas Schile (Jaci); his granddaughters, Grace and Laura; and his brother-in-law Chuck Schmidt (Sandra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Schriver's Memorial Chapel (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (409 2nd Ave NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
