She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Johnson and Irene Johnson (Irvin); her husband Robert Wales; her son Rick Wales; and her great grandchild Grant Schwartz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Halseth (Pat) and Susan Weigel (Dick); and her daughter-in-law Jan Wales.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Plymouth Congregational Church (431 W Melgaard Rd, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
