We bid farewell to Magdalena Marie Fritz of Aberdeen, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Magdalena touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Geier and Margaretha Geier (Heilman); her husband Richard "Tony" Fritz; her son Joseph; her in-laws, Anton and Irene Fritz (Graham); her sisters, Barbara Harberer, Mary Mardian, Betty Mitzel and Clara Meier; and her great grandchild Liam Kummer.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Fritz (Linda) of Missoula, MT, Becky Weismantel (John) of Watertown, SD, Tom Fritz (Marlyce) of Bismarck, ND, Kathi Stotz (Todd) of Elkhorn, NE, Amy Zens (Todd) of Aberdeen, SD and Nancy Kruger (David). She is also survived by Twin Brooks, SD; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schriver's Memorial Chapel (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (409 2nd Ave NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
