He is survived by: his children, Wendy, Angela, Shawn (Kelsey), Jenny (Josh), David (Meghan) and Doug (Shelby); his grandchildren, Aaron, Ashlyn, Lexi, Chase, Jaylyn, Ben, Jackson, Katrina, Parker, Ryhan, Rudy, Lawson, Kenneth, Jayden and Natalie (Jesse); his great grandchild Baylor; his siblings, Steve (Sue), Lynn, Lori (Dale) and Lisa (Tom); and his in-laws, Gerrie, Mel, Pat and Janet.
In lieu of flowers, Rick had requested that memorials be directed to Lori Volk at 3107 Cyprus St. N, Aberdeen, SD 57401, to go toward the expenses of Rick's ten-month battle with cancer.
