He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gruman and Rose Gruman; his stepmother Martha Gruman; his brothers, Charles'Chuck'Gruman, Larry Gruman and Jerry Gruman; and his grandchildren, Peter and Anna Gruman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gruman (Kelly); his sons, Joe Gruman (Gina) of Bismarck, ND and John Gruman (Amy) of Aberdeen, SD; his brother Allen Gruman; and his grandchildren, Katie, Andrew and Avery Gruman.
