We announce the death of Rodney Sanders (Aberdeen, South Dakota), who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 72. Rodney will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Sanders and Geraldine "Gerry" Rose (Gabriel). He is survived by: his wife Kim Sanders; his children, Shaun Sanders (Diana) and Leslie Vorster (Chris); his grandchildren, Angie, Amir, Aria, Chase and Liv; and his siblings, Peggy Kusser (Joey), Doug Sanders (Brenda), Brad Tunby (Alisa), Tony Tunby, John Paul Sanders (Lori) and Bobby Rott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
