With sadness, we share the passing of Truman O. Henry (Aberdeen, South Dakota). Truman, born on August 6, 1943, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruth Irwin and Clyde; his parents, James Patrick Henry and Rosalia Henry Dunegan (Irwin); his son Ray Brent Henry; and his sister Mary Ruth Pointer.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Henry; his children, Audra Engel (Jason), Elicia Lenius (Richard), Kyle Albright (Monica), Stephen Albright (Peggy) and Helen Shaw (Turney); and his siblings, Elizabeth'Liz'Norton and Patrick'Pat'Henry Sabala (Jenny).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
