It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Ritter of Akaska, South Dakota, born in Bowdle, South Dakota, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wm Pete Murray and Lenora Mae Murrray (Ring); her husband Leo T. Ritter of Akaska; and her siblings, Dale (Esther Murray), Donald (Elaine Murray), Joyce (Paul Cook), Kenneth Murray, Shirley and Robert Lee.
She is survived by: her family Olga Weiss; her nephew Royce Ritter; her daughters, Connie of Akaska and Rosalyn (Roz) of Mobridge; her in-laws, Fred and Christina Ritter; her siblings-in-law, Bertha, Henry Smith, Esther Ritter, Ervin and Leona Ritter; her nephew Pete Cook; her niece Marcie Ritter; and her great-nephew Jonathan Pemp.
