He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fickbohm and Ida Fickbohm (Ludwig). He is survived by: his wife Julie (Sorlie); his siblings, Linda Greenhagen, DeLane Fickbohm (Nancy) and Dawn Scott (Gary); and his close friends, Lori Winkelman, Kevin Johnson and Warren Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Nathanael Lutheran Church (209 Dakota St, Alcester, SD 57001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
