He is survived by: his children, Cindy Sailor, Rick Schempp (Joni), Perry Schempp (Linda), Wendy Schempp and Jaimey Schempp (Jenelle); his grandchildren, Ryan Sailor (Andrea), Ross Sailor (Johanna), Rebekah Dekkenga (Seth), Lindsey Eisma (Mitch), Lexy Sorlie, Rachel Ballard (Bill), Ben Schempp (Caitlin), Kari Schempp, Mallory Rykhus (Austin) and Matthew Schempp (Macey); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Nelson and Hermie Schempp. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
