He is survived by: his wife Kathy Erpenbach; his sons, Shane (Janel) of Sioux Falls and Ryan (Julie) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Makenzie Stukel (CJ), Haley, Aiden and Ashtyn; his great grandchildren, Quincy and Malcolm; his siblings, Jane Derrington (Pat), Oran Hoffman (Jo), Fay Klock, Teresa Goedeken (Dave), Karen Mannie (Jim), Brian Hoffman (Wanda), Brenda Meyer (Neil), Dede Collins (Cory) and Gail Larson (Jason); and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Erpenbach and Diane Eich (Larry).
A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at the St Mary of Mercy Catholic Church (220 5th St, Alexandria, SD 57311). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary of Mercy Catholic Church (123 Main St, Alexandria, SD 57311). A wake will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
