She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Tawzer; and her parents, Paul Johnson and Edith Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Amy Jo Tawzer of Arlington, SD, Tim Tawzer of Sioux Falls, SD, Shaun Tawzer of Arlington, SD. and Billy Tawzer; and her siblings, Lois Jean Harless, Norma Vivarian, William Johnson and Paul Jr. Johnson.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Arlington Methodist Church.
