We are sad to announce that, on September 28, 2025, at the age of 66, Lee Ann Kasten (Arlington, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Charlotte Weiland (Char); and her former husband Thomas Mix. She is survived by: her father Garold Weiland (Gary); her husband Rick Kasten of Hayti, SD.; her daughters, Heather Joseph (Watson) of Eden Prairie, MN, Nichole Mix (Marci) of Austin, TX and Kristen Sampah (Jerry) of Shakopee, MN.; her grandchildren, Alessandra, Mikalah Joseph, Colin, Keely Fiedorowicz-Mix, Amatey and Malia Sampah; her siblings, Steve Weiland (Susan) and Sue Urban (Joel); and her nephews, Bret, Andrew, Eric Weiland, Ethan, Tyler and Jordan Urban.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Hamlin School District lunch program.
