He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morrison and Gladys Morrison (Beeson); his son-in-law Perry Stulken; his nephew Slaba; his parents-in-law, Ted, LaRayne Drake and Ellen Drake; his niece Januari Kranz; his siblings-in-law, Laurie Fritz, Mona Drake, Doug Mitchell, Ted Drake and Robert Fritz; and his great-niece Elise Mitchell.

He is survived by: his wife Kerrill; his daughters, Krystal Stulken of Deadwood, SD and Kara Thompson (Greg) of Bakersfield, CA; his grandchildren, Jordy Stulken, Kinsey Thompson and Jesse Thompson; his siblings, Rose Mutziger (Chuck) of Yankton, SD, Barb Slaba (John) of O'Neill, NE, Gerri Mitchell of Cedar Rapids, IA and Don Morrison (Wilma) of Renner, SD; and his siblings-in-law, William Drake (Janet Johnson) of Revillo, SD, Thomas Drake (Zhenging Chen) of Brandon, SD, Robert Drake (Pam) of Watertown, SD, Kay Shadewald (Herb) of Brookings, SD and Lisa DeKraai (Dennis) of Arlington, SD. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews along with twenty grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Armour Community Church (910 Dobson St, Armour, SD 57313). A prayer was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery (Armour, SD 57313).
