She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Edward Nydam (Virgina Nydam) and Virginia Nydam (Olivier); her husband Larry Groeneweg; her children, Jodie Lakis (Doug) of Carolina Shores, NC, Jeannie DeLange (Trav) of Corsica, SD and LaRoy Groeneweg (Heather Geres) of Corsica, SD; her grandchildren, Haley Walls, Dakota Walls, Tristan Walls, Dalton DeLange (Kate), Christian DeLange (Stephanie), Kolby DeLange and Jagger Groeneweg; her great grandchildren, Maren DeLange, London DeLange, Dahlia DeLange and Beau DeLange; her sisters, Carol Weins (Leonard) of Platte, SD and Kathy Zomer (Bruce) of Corsica, SD; her sister-in-law Bev Varlik of Aurora Center, SD; her son LaRon Groeneweg; her brother John Allen Nydam; and her grandson Hoyt LaRon Groeneweg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harrison Community Church (775 Lecocq Ave, Harrison, SD 57344). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
