She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Paul and LaVonne (Ahrens) Oberbroekling; parents-in-law: Johnnie and Darline Thompson; husband: Terry Thompson; children: Michelle (Ernie) Bertram, Denise (Bruce) Sparks, and Nick (Isabelle) Thompson; grandchildren: Ryan (Kassidy) Bertram, Ethan Bertram, Ty Sparks, Trey Sparks and Owen Thompson; great-granddaughter: Aurora "Rory" Bertram; siblings: Mary Holzinger, Gene (Jayne) Oberbroekling, Raymond Oberbroekling, Denny Oberbroekling, and Sam (Susan) Anderson; sisters-in-law: Carol Oberbroekling, Patsy Amundson, Sandee Gordon, and Debbie Leichtman; brothers-in-law: Neal Anderson, Rick Holzinger, John Amundson, Stan Gordon, and Jim Thompson; nephews: Johnny Amundson; nieces: Jennifer Leichtnam; other: Fr. Gary DeRouchey, Bruce Pearson, Ava Pearson, Pam Pearson, Jody Stalker; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (204 1st St, Armour, SD 57313). A vigil service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery (Armour, SD 57313).
