It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Sanders of Ashton, South Dakota, born in Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Esser and Frances Esser (West); her husband Robert; her parents-in-law, Arnold and Margaret Sanders; and her nieces, Leslie Esser and Elizabeth Lias.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbi Jo Lahr (Peter) of Ashton, SD, Becky Sanders (Ron Price) of Redfield, SD. and Mike Sanders (Ginah) of Redfield, SD.; her grandchildren, Jalia, Jalisa, Elania, Grayson, Landon and Adrianna; her brothers, Paul Esser (Tia) of Sioux Falls, SD, Terry Esser (Rhonda) of Marble Falls, TX and Tim Esser (Jane) of York, NE; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Sanders of Westminster, CA and Norma Herren of Redfield, SD. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and cousins.
