He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Thomas and Edward Panek; his wife Sally Frericks of Northville, SD.; his grandson Nathan; and his brother-in-law Buck Frericks.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Sale (Stacy) of Ashton, SD and Brad Sale (Dawn) of Parker, AZ. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
