With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlin Dejong of Avon, South Dakota, born in Tyndall, South Dakota, who passed away on November 12, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Eldon DeJong and Alberta DeJong (Ludens) of Springfield; his daughters, Jennifer Parker (Brooke) of Fairfield, CA and Cassandra DeJong (Daniel Gershon) of Yankton; his grandchildren, Jameson, Samantha, Marissa and Rhett; his close friend Paula Hendrickson of Yankton; his sisters, Ellen Logterman of Rockford, IL, Myrna Voigt (John) of Avon, Christine Diers (Lee) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cynthia Orduno of Avondale, AZ; his brother-in-law Dave Logterman; and his friend Guy Hendrickson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
