He was predeceased by : his parents, O. F. Voigt and Katie Voigt (TerVeer); his son Donald; his siblings, Abe, George, John (Luella), Clara DeBoer (Peter), Johanna Weber (Emil), Margaret Hubner (Russell), Esther Voigt and Carrie Engle; his half-siblings, Eldon Voigt and Goldie Lubbers; his niece Delilia Weber; and his son-in-law Jack Davidson.
He is survived by : his wife Doris Ludens; his children, Kay Davidson of Rochester, MN, Joan Sagmoe (Bryan) of Spearfish, SD and Paul Voigt (Tracy) of Avon; his grandchildren, Clare Davidson-Mino (Sebastian), Thresa Davidson, Jackson Davidson, Nathan Davidson, Lauren Sagmoe, Jaron Sagmoe, Derian Voigt and Cassandra Voigt; and his great grandchildren, Lucia and Mateo Mino.
