He was predeceased by: his wife Dee Braithwaite; his parents, Phillip Kulhavy and Lola Kulhavy; and his siblings, Norma Nunes and Dick Kulhavy.
He is survived by: his son Kevin (Dawn); his granddaughter Olivia (Matt Lind); his great grandchildren, Hattie and Otto; and his brother Fancis.
