Aurand; his father Dr. Charles Aurand, Jr.; his children, Dory Hanson (Tate) and Charlie Aurand, IV (Emily); his granddaughters, Nadia, Hilde and Addison; his siblings, Janice Hirschi (Doug), Cheryl McMillen (Kurt), Sandra Burris (Bob) and William Aurand (Marcia); his in-laws, Gary and Jean; and his brother-in-law Bill Helmer. He is also survived by his extended family, his friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be given to Placerville Camp, the Compassion Cupboard, or to NPR/SDPB.
