He is survived by: his wife Betty Moppin of Belle Fourche; his children, Rebecca Scheifla (Daryl) of Florence, AZ, Douglas Artus of Pewaukee, WI and Brent Artus (Michelle) of Pleasant Prairie, WI; his grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Kali, Shannon, Cameron, Aaron, Elena, Alex, Matthew, Jonathan and Ashley; and his siblings, Darleen Cobb of Belle Fourche and Sherwin Artus (Kaycie) of Highland Hills, CO.. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. James Lutheran Church.
