She is survived by: her husband Donald Nichols; her children, Roberta Nichols of Aberdeen, Joel Nichols (Sharon) of Sturgis, Nancy Nieman of Sioux Falls, Pamela Nichols of Castle Rock, CO, Donnie Nichols of Haigler, NE and Dean Nichols (Zorianna) of Castle Rock, CO.; her grandchildren, Travis TerWee, Trista Polley, Alli Williams, Cody Nichols, Jan Nichols, Robert Bugner, Nichole Bugner, Rachael Bugner, Tyler McLaughlin, Cecily Ostlee, Tyler Liebsch and Krista Lenz; and her siblings, Esther Afdahl (Larry) of Aberdeen and Art Reichert (Joyce) of Isabel. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
