Wells of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, born in Mitchell, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 101. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazen Wells and Mae Wells (Metz); his wife Mary Ann; his grandchild Kelly Brengle; and his great grandchild Kaylee Teppo.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Wells of St. Onge, Linda Wiley (Jon) of Spearfish, Allen Wells (Michele Post) of Sturgis and Barbara Snoozy (David Clarkson) of Portland; and his grandchildren, Nathan Wiley (Stephanie), Aaron Wiley (Carolyn) of Indianapolis, Krista Menzel (Brady) of Sioux Falls, Kelli Colipano (Honario) of Ewa Beach and Kyle Snoozy (Saki) of Portland. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (717 Jackson St, Belle Fourche, SD 57717). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Pine Slope Cemetery (511 6th Ave, Belle Fourche, SD 57717).
